Yayasan Kesehatan Bali (Yakeba) is a Balinese charity providing treatment and education to people living with, or at risk from, drugs, alcohol and HIV/AIDS.
Giving help from experience
Yakeba was founded in 1999 by recovered alcoholic Bob Monkhouse. Yakeba believes people who have lived with drug or alcohol problems or HIV/AIDS are the ones most able to help fellow sufferers.
A range of programmes
Yakeba operates a range of programmes including running awareness sessions in schools and youth groups, providing resources for addicts in rehabilitation and more.
